CAN-RYU Jiu-Jitsu
CAN-RYU Jiu-Jitsu is a Canadian self-defence system rooted in traditional Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, adapted for Canadian society and standards. It blends influences from Judo, Karate, kickboxing, and law enforcement techniques. Unlike sport-based martial arts, CAN-RYU Jiu-Jitsu focuses on practical, real-world self-defense, emphasizing simplicity, commonality of technique, gross motor skills, and awareness of additional threats. The style continues to evolve, equipping students with effective techniques to protect themselves while adhering to the principle of using only necessary force.
