Chakra Meditation and Energy Healing Introduction

Discover the body’s major energy centers and learn how energy flow impacts physical, emotional, and mental health. In this session, you will learn to channel universal energy and Qi using intention, visualization, and guided breathing techniques designed to naturally complement and deepen a regular yoga practice.

Guided by Philip Lai, you will explore the location of the chakras along the Governing and Conception vessels, practicing how to meditate on, open, and empower each energy center. You’ll also learn practical energy and acupressure techniques for self-healing and helping others—giving you powerful, tangible tools to take off the mat.

  • Time: 11h00-11h50 (11:00am-11:50am)

  • Instructor: Philip Lai

Introduction to Tai Chi

Explore a unique bridge between breathwork, mindfulness, and gentle movement through the lenses of Qigong and classical Tai Chi lineages. Guided through the foundational principles of energy flow (Qi) and intentional movement (Yi), you’ll learn how internal alignment helps you stand comfortably, yield to physical forces, and move with fluid grace.

Led by Roland Lavigne, this session highlights key historical styles and traditions—including insights from masters like Cheng Man-ching and William C.C. Chen—to emphasize practical health benefits alongside traditional forms. You'll gain hands-on experience through guided standing practices, including Wuji standing meditation and foundational weight-transfer movements. It’s the perfect complement to a regular yoga practice, offering fresh perspectives on breath control, grounding energy, body awareness, and active recovery both on and off the mat.

  • Time: 12h00-12h50 (12:00pm-12:50pm)

  • Instructor: Roland Lavigne

Medical Qigong Healing

Experience Medical Qigong—a targeted, therapeutic branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine often described as "acupuncture without the needles." While general Qigong focuses on daily health and vitality, Medical Qigong uses precise diagnostic frameworks rooted in Chinese medical theory, anatomy, and pathology to address specific energetic and physical imbalances.

Led by Philip Lai, this session introduces external Qi projection, guided movements, and personalized energetic exercises. It’s an ideal session for yoga participants looking to expand their mind-body awareness with a therapeutic approach to healing, taking your practice beyond general wellness to restore balance using targeted breathwork, intention, and movement.

  • Time: 13h00-13h50 (1:00pm-1:50pm)

  • Instructor: Philip Lai

Relaxation Under Pressure

Discover how breathing, posture, balance, and relaxed movement help you stay calm and react effectively under pressure. Through simple partner exercises, practical techniques, and safe breakfall practice, you’ll learn that true relaxation is an active state—one that sharpens spatial awareness, enhances body control, and boosts movement efficiency.

Led by Scott Campsall, this session bridges Aikido with disciplines like yoga, Tai Chi, and Qigong by focusing on their shared core principles: staying centered, breathing naturally, and releasing unnecessary tension. It offers yoga practitioners a dynamic, interactive way to apply what they practice on the mat—showing how internal alignment, grounding, and composure translate into fluid, off-the-mat resilience and harmonious movement.

  • Time: 14h00-14h50 (2:00pm-2:50pm)
